Mu Alpha Theta strives to inspire a keen interest in mathematics, develop strong scholarship in the subject, and promote the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students. In this endeavor, Mu Alpha Theta provides many benefits to its members and chapters, including contests, an annual National Convention, grants, awards, and scholarships, as well as networking and leadership opportunities.
