Welcome to the MHS Science & Technology Department! We are committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for discovery in all students. Our department offers a wide range of courses—from foundational science classes to advanced and specialized electives—designed to support every learner, whether they are building core knowledge or pursuing college- and career-focused pathways.

Students have opportunities to engage in hands-on laboratory work, research projects, and real-world problem solving. We also provide access to Advanced Placement (AP) courses, electives in areas such as biotechnology, environmental science, engineering, and technology, and interdisciplinary learning experiences that connect science to everyday life.

Beyond the classroom, we are proud to offer partnerships and pathways that extend student learning. These may include collaborations with local colleges and universities, industry connections, internship or mentorship opportunities, and participation in STEM-focused programs. Our goal is to help students explore potential career interests, build practical skills, and gain meaningful experiences that prepare them for success after graduation.
